Internalised Racism: UK Research Project

About me
My name is Lauren Jacobs. I am a Year 3 PsychD Counselling Psychology trainee at the University of Roehampton. As part of my doctorate training, I am undertaking research to explore how Black psychotherapeutic practitioners in the UK experience internalised racism.
I am being supervised on this project by two highly experienced psychologists and researchers: Dr Catherine Lewis and Dr Christopher Clesse.

I have worked as a trainee counselling psychologist in a variety of settings, such as charities and NHS services, with diverse client groups presenting with various difficulties. This means I can support you during your interview, which may potentially cause you some distress due to the sensitive nature of what will be discussed.
